Part of my training included a day of this Jet Simulator Training. This is an actual CRJ regional jet simulator. The CRJ is what Skywest, American Eagle and other regional airlines use on most of their routes. Me and my friend Andrew were trained (it was a six hour "crash course" really) on how to fly this. We were especially trained on how to work together as a team of pilots. I got a good feel for what really happens in the cockpit of a jet. There is a lot going on up there during a flight that no one ever knows about and I learned it would be very hard to fly one of those as a single pilot. The training was way fun and it made me more excited to do it someday for real.
