Halloween Horror Nights:
We went with Dane's sister and nephew to Halloween Horror Nights at Universal and had a great time. There, we also met up with some of Alicia's old friends too. The spook alleys were really great this year and doing it with friends and family was a blast!
Thanksgiving this year was at our house for the first time and it was really wonderful. We learned how to cook a turkey...well, a turkey breast. We did it in a crock pot and it turned out fantastic! Dane's sister and nephew joined us and we ate and ate until we couldn't eat any more. Then we had lots of pie!
For Christmas, Dane's family came down again from Jacksonville and we had a wonderful Christmas together. For Christmas dinner, we had an extravagant fondue smorgasbord complete with cheese, oil, and chocolate fondue pots. The food was delicious and it was fun to try something a little different than the traditional meal.
As you can see, we enjoy having some family close by and have loved spending so much time with them!

Yikes to the first picture! I hear Dane is flying a lot, hooray! Perhaps we can get he and Josh in a plane together again someday. Miss you guys!
