Christmas in Florida is certainly a different season than it is back home in Utah. Fortunately we did get to experience Utah's Christmas a little when we returned for a week in mid December.
Our first day was spent in Salt Lake City where we saw our cousins Greg & Annette, Grandma McDurmott (Alicias grandma), and Dane's sister Jill and her family. We spent a freezing night with them at Temple square and ate dinner and had a great time seeing them!
The rest of our trip was spent all around southern Utah with the rest of our family. It started with a great few days with Dane's mom. We had a lot of fun spending time with her.
We then spent a few days with Alicia's family. First Dane and some of the family competted at several Wii fit games. One of the exercizes told Dane he was a couch potato :) We went shooting at Alicia's parents place too and Dane got to shoot some pretty cool guns. Our adorable new nephew Cody was blessed while we were home. He is the cutest little guy!
We also spent a few days at Dane's dads house and had a nice time with them too. They had the four wheeler and we took it for a fun ride around the farm. I tried to make Alicia feel bad for me while I showed her where I did so much work on the farm as a kid, but she only laughed and said "its made you a good man"...I couldn't argue against that! The rest of the family came over and we had a ton of fun talking and playing games like mafia.
